AEW will be bringing in a three Judges panel for the World Championship Title Match at AEW Full Gear 2019 PPV to decide the tiebreaker.

AEW Full Gear takes place on 9 November 2019 at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD. Chris Jericho will be defending the AEW World Championship title against Cody Rhodes. The match is set for a 60 minutes time limit. AEW will be appointing three esteemed judges in the coming week who will be seated at the ringside during the match.

In case there is no winner at the end of the 60-minute time limit, the judges must vote for a winner. This stipulation is added to ensure that a winner will emerge at the end of the World Title match. The judges will also ensure that Jericho won’t get any assists from The Inner Circle during the match. The stipulation will be finalized during the contract signing between Chris Jericho and Cody Rhodes.

Chris Jericho became the inaugural AEW World Champion by defeating Adam Page at AEW All Out 2019 show. Cody Rhodes was decided as his challenger for AEW Full Gear due to the best record in singles matches in AEW till that time. He has two wins against Dustin Rhodes(at AEW Double or Nothing) and Shawn Spears(AEW All Out), apart from a draw against Darby Allin(at AEW Fyter Fest).

Jericho and Cody have been at loggerheads ever since the announcement of the match. Jericho attacked Cody at the AEW Dynamite premiere episode and started a war between his “Inner Circle” and the Elites. Inner Circle includes Santana, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager.
