WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins was able to defeat Erick Rowan in the Falls Count Anywhere match by pinning Rowan down with a forklift.

Seth Rollins was announced to face Erick Rowan for the non-title match during last week’s WWE Backstage studio show. This is the same stipulation that will be in play for Rollins’ Universal Championship match against the Fiend Bray Wyatt at WWE Crown Jewel 2019.

The Universal Champion started the match on the front foot with quick offense moves. But Rowan soon took control by slamming him to the barricade. Rowan continued to use the stipulation for the advantage and the match spilled into the arena. But it was Rollins who used the stipulation to the best effect.

As the match came near the end, Rollins and Rowan were battling backstage near all the production equipment. After Rollins dodged a production crate flung at him, he hit Rowan with the curb stomp on the ladder. As his eyes fell on the Forklift in the area, he forced a production guy to lower the Forklift on Rowan and pinned him. You can check the video below.

Seth Rollins will defend the WWE Universal Championship at WWE Crown Jewel against the Fiend Bray Wyatt. The same Falls Count Anywhere stipulation in addition that the match cannot be stopped by the referee for any reason. It remains to be seen if WWE has actually teased the manner in which the match at Crown Jewel might end.
