Kabuki Warriors Turn on Paige on RAW This Week

Kabuki Warriors turned on their manager Paige as Asuka spit the green mist on her during the opening promo of RAW this week(28 October 2019).

This week’s Monday Night Raw kicked off with Paige returning to the Red Brand to cut a promo for the reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, Asuka interrupted her manager by grabbing the microphone and yelling out sentences in Japanese, leaving Paige utterly confused. This was followed by Kairi Sane snatching the mic from Paige. As they briefly fought for the microphone, Asuka spat green mist from Asuka.

The Kabuki Warriors mocked Paige as she cried at the ringside and asked the referee to bring her water and get the mist out of her eyes. Becky Lynch then came out and attacked both the Tag Team Champions before the advertised match between her and Sane. Also, Becky was able to get the win over Kairi Sane in a hard-fought match.

Asuka and Sane were originally introduced by Paige during the Superstar Shakeup in April. They made sporadic appearances for the next six months. They were given a title match against the Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross at Hell in a Cell 2019 PPV and won the match after Asuka used the green mist on Nikki Cross.

The Kabuki Warriors are booked to defend their tag team titles against Teagan Nox and Dakota Kai on this week’s NXT. This will be the first time the titles have been defended on NXT.
