Another week and NXT continues its battle against AEW Dynamite. A title match is announced for this week as Roderick Strong defends the North American Championship. Some much-required star power is added to the card with the return of Finn Balor. The battle of Women’s division catches fire with Bianca Beliar and Rhea Ripley facing off in a singles match.

Rhea Ripley vs Bianca Belair

We go right to the ring and Rhea Ripley enters followed by Bianca Belair. Rhea takes it into the corner until a break is forced. They continue to trade the upper hand until Belair hits a huge Spear into Ripley in the corner. Ripley levels Belair to the mat. More counters and Ripley with a big kick to turn it around. They trade several vertical suplex attempts before Ripley finally hits one.

Beliar takes the control back with a kick. Belair hits a suplex for one-count. Belair keeps knocking Rhea around after a brief offense from Ripley. Belair applies another abdominal stretch in the middle of the ring. Ripley breaks free and looks to mount more offense but Belair dodges it all. They both go for hair and bring each other down to the mat. Belair unloads in the corner and keeps control. Ripley knocks her out of the air with a huge boot. Ripley nails a basement dropkick and a cannonball as they go to the ringside.

Io Shirai appears out of nowhere and attacks Ripley at ringside when the referee was not looking. She throws her back in but Ripley still kicks out at 2. Candice LeRae runs down and attacks Shirai. Belair and Ripley tangle in the ring again. Belair goes for a roundhouse kick but Ripley ducks it. Ripley goes on and hits the Riptide for the pin to win.

Backstage, Cathy Kelly interviews Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate. Pete Dunne said Damien Priest “Did what he had to do,” and that there is a receipt coming. She also asks about Killian Dain. Dunne says he doesn’t care about Dain. Tyler Bate is shown at ringside next as Matt Riddle and Cameron Grimes enter for their match.

Grimes charges but Riddle dodges a Double Stomp. Grimes also dodges a Final Flash and start the tussle. They trade holds and takedowns. Riddle tries for a couple holds, but Grimes rolls him up for two-count. Riddle hits a series of mid kicks. Riddle hits a series of Corner Forearms. Grimes dodges a Penalty Kick. Grimes dodges a moonsault. Riddle hits a Senton. Riddle gets a nearfall.

Riddle hits a Jackhammer and gets two-count. Riddle hits a series of mid kicks and a penalty kick. Grimes counters an armbar with a rollup and Riddle returns to the kicks. Grimes hits a moonsault and a German Suplex for a nearfall. Riddle hits a GTS and a German Suplex to get a nearfall.
