Why is Tyson Fury Entering in Pro-Wrestling with WWE?

Tyson Fury is an active Professional boxer and does not have any prior experience in pro-wrestling what so ever. However, Fury and WWE had a discussion earlier for him to feature in wrestling events. For Crown Jewel 2019, Saudi Arabia Government, with whom WWE has huge 10 years deal, asked WWE to get Fury for the Crown Jewel event. Saudi Government will be holding festivals in Riyadh and the addition of Fury is a PR stunt.

Similarly, being a British Boxer, Fury is not easily recognized in the US market. He has signed a 5 years deal with ESPN to hold the fights in the United States worth $80 million. The appearances with WWE are just one of the ways with which ESPN and Fury are trying to build his brand.
