Professional boxer Tyson Fury is reportedly making $15 million for his WWE debut match against Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel 2019 show.

The Daily Mail is reporting from Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT that Fury’s pay for Crown Jewel 2019 is in “that ballpark of $15 million.” This is a huge sum considering that WWE itself gets around $20 million for their shows in Saudi Arabia.

While the exuberant salaries for WWE’s Saudi Arabia events are common, the amount that Fury is getting is far more than any wrestler got for any of the wrestling events. For Super Showdown, Goldberg reportedly got $1 million for a single appearance. Floyd Mayweather also received $2 million for his WrestleMania 24 appearance in 2008. Although WWE claimed to have paid Mayweather $20 million for that show.

The Sun is also stating that Fury who got into WWE because his son Prince is a massive fan, but, he is taking his appearance extremely seriously. The report also indicated that this might one of the many appearances in WWE for him.

“This could be the first of many, depends on how we get along and how much damage I take on October 31. Who knows, after Braun Strowman, who knows what lies beneath, maybe Cain Velasquez, maybe Brock Lesnar – who knows.”
