Roman Reigns vs Erick Rowan – Lumberjack Match
Daniel Bryan is already at the commentary table for this match. Roman Reigns gets the starry welcome with all the pyro. This is a lumberjack match. Rowan enters and they start. Rowan backs Reigns to the corner and beats him down to start. He knocks Reigns out of the ring and several lumberjacks take shots at him before throwing him back in. Roman clotheslines Rowan out where he begins a fight against all of the lumberjacks. He throws Roman into the barricade. Back in the ring, Rowan hits a spin kick for a two count as we go to the break.
Rowan is taking out the punishment on Reigns as we return. Reigns tries to fight back but to no avail. Rowan runs into the turnbuckle and Roman strikes him with a series of corner clotheslines. The Big Dog gets a two count with a Samoan drop. Luke Harper comes to the ramp and starts fighting with the lumberjacks. Bryan runs at him and gets sent into the barricade. Reigns takes out everyone with a dive over the top rope. Rowan powerbombs Ali into Reigns before hitting a crossbody for a two count back in the ring. Harper clotheslines Reigns and fights off lumberjacks from the apron. Bryan drills Harper with a running knee and Reigns hits the Spear on Rowan for the pin and the win.
Winner- Roman Reigns
After the match, Reigns recovers as his music hits. Bryan enters the ring and offers his hand for a shake. Reigns thinks about it as Bryan gets the fans to chant “yes!” at him. Reigns finally shakes it and fans pop.
Kofi Kingston vs Brock Lesnar – WWE Championship Match
As soon as the bell rings, Brock grabs Kofi and hits the F5 for the pin and the win. Kofi’s title reign unceremoniously ended and we have a new WWE Champion in Lesnar.
Winner- Brock Lesnar(becomes new WWE Champion)
As Lesnar celebrates, the camera’s zoom in on Goldberg in the first row. Suddenly, Rey Mysterio’s music hits. And he brings out none other than Cian Velazquez- the man who took away the UFC Heavyweight title away from Lesnar in mere seconds in 2010. Velasquez hits the ring and takes down Lesnar in MMA styles. He rains in the punches until Lesnar sneaks out of the ring.
Heyman talks trash and hands him the belt to show it to Cian. Lesnar stares down at Cain from the ramp who is standing with Rey Mysterio in the ring. Lesnar finally turns and goes up the ramp as fans start booing. Lesnar and Heyman look on from the entrance as Rey and Cain stand tall in the ring. The 20th-anniversary episode ends comes to an end.
