After the match, Sasha starts celebrating and Becky takes her time to get into the ring. She hits the ring and starts laying out on Sasha. Sasha tries to fights back but had to run off in the crowd eventually. Becky takes the mic and talks trash, warning Banks that she won’t leave the Cell on Sunday until she’s done with her. Lynch goes on and says Banks made it personal, but she will make it painful at Hell In a Cell on Sunday.
Back from the break and commentary team reminds of WWE’s announcement of the Rock coming to SmackDown’s FOX premiere. A recap from last week’s Firefly Fun House and how “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt attacked Braun Strowman during the Strowman vs Seth Rollins main event. Charly Caruso now talks to Rollins backstage. Rollins says all he can think about is what Brock Lesnar did to Rey Mysterio and his son. Lesnar crossed a line. He also addresses Hell In a Cell and says he will survive, prevail and walk out as Universal Champion after the fight with the Fiend. He also tells us that Rey is in no condition to compete. Rollins says Rey has a title shot waiting for him when he gets better but someone else will be facing him tonight.
Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler(c) vs the Heavy Machinery – WWE RAW Tag Team Championship Match
The champs have already made their way before the break. Heavy Machinery enters after Rollins’ interview. Rome does formal ring introductions and Ziggler and Tucker start going back and forth. Tucker hits Ziggler with a couple of shoulder tackles. Tucker goes on and connects with a big dropkick to get two-count. Tucker lifts Ziggler in the air for a suplex and holds him. Otis tags in and takes the suplex over, keeping Ziggler high in the air. Otis finally drops Ziggler with the suplex cum neck breaker for a near fall. Roode comes in but Otis ends up running them both over. Tucker tags back in and they both hit a suplex simultaneously before clearing the ring as We go to commercial.
Tucker is going after Ziggler as we return. Roode uses a low-bridges to send him out of the ring. Roode gets the tag and drives Tucker into the apron and then the barricade. Ziggler tags back in and keeps him grounded with a headlock. Tucker finally sends Dolph into the turnbuckle and both men are down. Both men make the tag and Otis starts bulldozing over both Roode and Ziggler. He puts down Ziggler with a power slam and then hits a splash on Roode. He does the caterpillar to both men at once. Roode jumps into his arms and Otis tags in for the Compactor. Ziggler runs interference with a Zig Zag on Tucker. The champions send Otis into the ring post and Roode hits the Glorious DDT for the pin.
Winners- Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler(retains the RAW Tag Team Titles)
Miz TV with Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Jimmy Hart
We see Hulk Hogan with Jimmy Hart and Ric Flair walking backstage. The Miz enters the ring and talks about Mysterios and Lesnar for a bit. He tells us he feels for Rey because he knows that he will also be mad if someone lays their hands on his daughters. He calls out Ric Flair first, who hits the ring. Next, he calls out Hulk Hogan, who comes out with Jimmy Hart.
The Miz jokes about himself being the legend. Ric Flair gets agitated that he is never believed to be in the same league as Hulk, Austin and the Undertaker when it comes to WWE. They get into a fake argument and gets ready for the fight. Flair takes a running start off the ropes and was about to run on Hogan but, both are not medically cleared I guess, as Flair stops in his tracks. They both start smiling now and Hogan says they are not exactly the spring chickens they once used to be.
However, The Miz announces a mega 5-on-5 tag team match between Team Hogan vs Team Flair match for Crown Jewel on 31 October in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Hogan goes on and introduces Rollins as his team captain. Rollins hits the ring and tells us that he is honored to be the captain of Hogan’s team just when Randy Orton’s music hits. Orton is the captain of Flair’s team. They end up challenging for a captain’s match right away.
