WWE has confirmed that Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan will team up together to take on Bludgeon Brothers- Erick Rowan and Luke Harper in a tag team match at Hell in a Cell 2019 show.
Rowan opened this week’s SmackDown Live but his promo was interrupted by Daniel Bryan. This led to a match between them where, once again, an intervention from Luke Harper helped Rowan to get the win over Bryan. As Rowan and Harper continued with the post-match beatdown, Roman Reigns came out help Bryan.
With Bryan and Roman managing to make the duo runoff, Bryan asked the fans if they wanted to see the tag team match. A huge “Yes” chant from the crowd followed which more or less confirmed the match. The match was officially announced later on the show.
Rowan was earlier revealed as the man behind attacks on Roman Reigns. This led to a match between him and Roman where Rowan defeated Reigns at Clash of Champions when Luke Harper made his return to WWE. The win over Bryan was Rowan’s second high profile win in a row.
