Fatal 5 Way Match for Universal Title No #1 Contender on RAW 23 September 2019

This will officially be the season-ending episode of RAW and in anticipation of going big for next week, WWE is holding a no #1 contender’s match for the Universal Championship. Also promised from WWE is another segment of Firefly Fun House as they built the Fiend for Hell in a Cell. Rest of the announced segments are as below(check full preview from the link below).

Rollins is Gonna Get These Hands

The opening vignette of WWE is a bit shaky. I thought my cable is having a problem until I saw the Fiend’s mask. We get the replay of the Fiend attacking the Demon Kane on last Monday before Michael Cole welcomes us to Monday Night RAW. Seth Rollins comes out to the ring as the commentary team discusses the Fiend’s terror.

Rollins starts his promo telling us that he has not felt in 10 years like he felt last week. It was pure terror and he wanted it to pass as a nightmare. But it is not a nightmare and he has to defend the title against the Fiend inside Hell in a Cell. What should he do? He will do what he always does when his back is against the wall. He survives and he prevails. Just like against Brock Lesnar and just like against Braun Strowman, he will survive against the Fiend also.

His promo is interrupted by Braun Strowman, who makes his way to the ring. Strowman tells Rollins that he prefers that his opponents talk about him in front of him. He has misunderstood last week’s Rollins statement of being not facing Strowman anytime soon. Rollins tries to clarify his statement but then end up challenging Strowman for the title match later tonight.

The Viking Raiders vs The OC

Anderson and Erick start the match and Erick takes him down. He tags in Ivar who goes on to throw Anderson around before Erick is tagged in so that he could slam Ivar over him. Anderson puts Erick in his corner and tags in Gallows who starts with a side slam and hits a few elbow drops. Erick manages to tag in Ivar who hits a crossbody on Gallows and then a splash.

A distraction from Styles allows Gallows to deck Gallows to push Ivar from the apron. As AJ tries to stomp on Ivar, the referee catches the wind of it and boots AJ from the ringside. As AJ goes back, Cedric Alexender runs out to the ramp and attacks Styles as we head to a break.
