Roman Reigns vs Erick Rowan
Preview- A silly accident, a sillier attempt to run Roman down with a car. The revelation and then it was not. The fake attacker and finally the video proof that should have been aired in the first place. Roman Reigns accident saga was a botched storyline is been soft on criticism. So much so, that it has forced Vince McMahon to do wholesome changes in SmackDown creative team. The match that was supposed to be between Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns will now be between two big men. Going by the way, their brawl has gone, expect it to be chaotic.
Prediction- The show is called Clash of Champions and Roman Reigns is always a champion in WWE’s eyes.
Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross(c) vs Fire and Desire(Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose) – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Preview– This is a positive sign for Women’s Tag Team Title. This will be third PPV in a row that the title will be contested, albeit on the pre-show. But still, it is an improvement from the IIconics days. However, once again WWE has gone to pin the champion route to set up this match. Another positive coming out of this match is that Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose will feature in WWE PPV. Last time they were on a PPV card was at Money in the Bank where both were involved in the finish.
Prediction- Unless WWE has suddenly become so high on Deville and Rose, there is no reason whatsoever to take the title away from Bliss and Cross.

Preview- It is a proven fact that WWE does not know how to book a face vs face match. But Strowman was due a title match and Rollins has now wandered in a John Cena territory. Since both could not be turned, they were made tag team partners and went on to win the RAW Tag Titles. During this time though, Strowman has his eyes fixed on the Universal Championship instead. And it took only a nudge from Strowman for Rollins to accept the match against him. On the other side, a surprise new team was formed in Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler and were given credibility having won a mega 8-team tag team gauntlet match to become the title contenders.
Prediction- Rollins and Strowman are surely going to lose the tag titles after some misunderstanding during the match. And later Seth Rollins is going to retain the Universal Championship.
