Preview- Drew Gulak, being a heel champ, has much more to offer than Tony Nese’s stale babyface run. But now, he is being pinned by both of his challengers in the past 3 weeks. First, Humberto Carrillo pinned him to finish off the 10-man Captain’s Challenge match. Then this week, it was Gulak again who was pinned by Lince Dorado in a 6-man tag match. In between, Dorado also defeated Carrillo to be added to the title match. This is by far the most erratic booking for 205 Live in recent times. Also worth mentioning is that Tony Nese has now turned heel and is siding with his former friend.

Prediction- The triple threat match, always a no DQ affair, is most probably used here for Tony Nese to interfere and help Drew Gulak to win the match.

Becky Lynch(c) vs Sasha Banks – WWE RAW Women’s Championship + Bayley(c) vs Charlotte Flair – WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

Preview- WWE manages to appease Sasha and she finally returns after months. And her first act after coming back was to beat the hell out of Natalya and then Becky. She and Becky started trading shots at each other. And then, things got spicier when Bayley turned heel by joining Sasha. Hug ‘n’ Boss Connection, reunited!! And finally looking like they are ready to run rampant. But maybe that’s a false dawn. Regardless, 4 horsewomen going against each other on the same night will be a treat to watch.

Predictions- Both champions, Becky and Bayley will retain their titles most likely, and then go for a two on two tag team match at Hell in a Cell with the winners getting the titles.

AJ Styles(c) vs Cedric Alexander – WWE United States Championship

Preview- When the OC started last month, it was ‘THE’ new heel stable with AJ at the helm and just becoming a champion. But since SummerSlam, they only went downhill. Cedric Alexander, the high flying cruiserweight has finally started getting some screen time. They needed him in a title match at PPV. So, the best way for them to book the match is for him to pin Styles, which is becoming WWE’s go-to way to book so many of title matches. And they don’t even realize how much they undermine their champion by doing that.

Prediction- He may have become a punching bag this week, but AJ Styles is too good to lose to Cedric Alexander.
