Women’s Tag Title Match Announced for Clash of Champions
WWE has announced that WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match will take place at Clash of Champions as Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross will defend their titles against Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville.
These two teams faced off at SmackDown past week in a non-title match where Deville and Rose were able to take the win over the champions. This would have meant that Deville and Rose would be next in line to get the title shot. And WWE confirmed the match over social media earlier today.
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross won the titles on SummerSlam go-home edition of RAW in a fatal 4-way match where Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose also participated. Since then, Bliss and Cross went on to defend the titles against former champions the IIconics at SummerSlam pre-show and then against the Kabuki Warriors at RAW on 12 August episode.
WWE Clash of Champions 2019 show will take place on 15 September at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC. Below is the confirmed match card for the show till now:
