Rowan and Daniel Bryan bring a hooded figure(covered in all black from head to toe) into a backstage room. The duo threatens him and want him to accept what he did. They threaten him to not move from that spot.
Elias was walking backstage and catches Drake Maverick trying to get his 24/7 title back. Elias shows Maverick a notice from Shane McMahon that the 24/7 title rules have been suspended for the night. He shoves Maverick back into the production crate and leaves.
A Moment of Bliss with Charlotte Flair
Alexa Bliss and Nicki Cross head to the stage to begin tonight’s Moment of Bliss. And Alexa says that A Moment of Bliss will always help the ‘less fortunate.’ However, this week’s guest is Charlotte Flair. Charlotte claims she is the face of the Smackdown’s Women’s Division and not Bayley, despite being the champ. This brings out Bayley. She says that at the end of the day, she is the champion. And that just eats up Charlotte from inside. Charlotte challenges Bayley for the title match at Clash of Champions and Bayley accepts. While leaving, Bayley just pushed Charlotte off her chair.
Buddy Murphy is shown getting ready backstage when Roman Reigns walks in. Reigns wants to know who Buddy is lying to, him or Daniel Bryan? Murphy says he is pretty sure he saw Erick Rowan but Roman needs better than pretty sure. Buddy complains about everybody sticking their nose into his business when he was only trying to help Roman, to which Reigns says if he finds out he was lying again, he will come back and whoop his ass.
Buddy Murphy defeated Daniel Bryan
Bryan saw Murphy talking with Roman backstage and calls him a liar and a coward. He also insists that they will reveal the real attacker and also reveal that Murphy also had something to do with it.
Murphy drills Bryan with a flying knee right after the bell. The Juggernaut chases him until Bryan hits a few strikes. The Planet’s Champion hits a few stiff kicks and starts calling Murphy a liar. Buddy puts him in the corner and unloads with chops. He clotheslines Bryan out of the ring and hits a big dive over the top rope.
Murphy nails Bryan with a dropkick. He hits another kick and a Meteora from the top rope for two. Bryan brings him down into the Lebell Lock and transitions to another hold when Murphy begins to counter. Murphy gets his foot on the bottom rope to force a break. Bryan starts to unleash the Yes Kicks but Murphy refuses to stay down. He pops up and hits a spin kick but Bryan is still able to put him in the tree of woe for more kicks.
Bryan hits a belly to back superplex from the top rope for a close two count. Buddy counters a hurricanrana with a running powerbomb for two. They trade punches when they get to their feet. They have a furious exchange of strikes and near falls. Murphy superkicks Rowan off the apron and hits Bryan with Murphy’s Law for the pi and the win.
