  • The show opens with highlights vignette from NXT TakeOver: Toronto II 2019 show.
  • Breezango(Tyler Breeze & Fandango) defeated Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake) with pinfall with Fandango hitting slingshot elbow drop onto Blake with Blake being set up on Tyler Breeze’s knees.
  • After highlights from NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream defeating Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne at TakeOver, Pete Dunne is interviewed. He says he’d be the champion if Velveteen hadn’t stopped the referee from counting three when he had Roderick Strong pinned. But he’s going to make sure he does whatever he needs to do to take that title away from Dream.
  • Next came the highlights of NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits defeating Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish at last weekend’s TakeOver. Cathy Kelley talks with Fish and O’Reilly and they were not happy about losing the match. They point out KOR wasn’t the legal man when he was pinned. We see a recap which shows Bobby did tag himself while holding the tag rope, so looks like they’re getting a rematch.
  • A video package of the new Io Shirai(featuring Poppy). We see clips from her match at TakeOver: Toronto against Candice LeRae which she won.
  • A highlight package of NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler defeating Mia Yim at NXT TakeOver: Toronto II. Backstage, Cathy Kelley asked Baszler for a word, she asked Baszler if Yim pushed her further than any previous competitor. Baszler removed her mouth guard and simply said, “And still[she is the champion].”
  • Extended highlights from NXT Champion Adam Cole defeating Johnny Gargano in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match at TakeOver.
  • Matt Riddle and Killian Dain’s brawl is shown next and they are announced to face off next week.
  • Jordan Myles defeated Cameron Grimes via pinfall with a brainbuster followed by a 450 splash to win the NXT Breakout Tournament 2019.
  • Post-match, William Regal heads out to the stage with a contract and gives it to Myles. He raises up Myles’ hand for a moment and Myles celebrates his big victory.
