Michael Cole introduces WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin to discuss about Seth Rollins’ win at SummerSlam. Austin is joining the show live via Skype. Austin talks about Rollins impressing him and says the match between Lesnar and Rollins was badass. Austin goes on to praise Rollins and says he’s committed to being the best in the world, and when you think like that, you can do anything. Austin spoke with Rollins at RAW Reunion and gave him some advice, just telling him to stay focused. Cole thanks him and plugs the “Straight Up Steve Austin” series that premieres on the USA Network after RAW.

Back from a break and Charly Caruso is backstage with Rey Mysterio, asking about what just happened. Rey says he is not sure where his career is going but he knows he has a family to support. Charly asks if he is trying to say something. Rey continues talking about his family and is almost in tears as he walks off.

The Street Profits are backstage again and Montez Ford talks about what we just saw from Rey. Angelo Dawkins has fallen asleep with all the parting. (He might be resembling us, the fans, and our hangover from SummerSlam). Ford mentions that Nikki Cross will defend her title tonight and Dawkins starts drinking something from a container to recharge himself.

Drew McIntyre is backstage with Sarah Schreiber. She asks about his next match with Cedric Alexander. Drew says she is implying that their feud will continue after tonight but it won’t, it’s ending tonight. Drew goes on to rant about Cedric and Roman Reigns for a while and ended by saying that Cedric’s little fairy-tale will be over.

Drew McIntyre defeated Cedric Alexander

Alexander gets the upper hand and clotheslines McIntyre over the top rope. The high-flyer hits a big dive before bringing Drew back in for a missile dropkick. Drew fights Cedric off and clubs him in the corner now. Drew runs and launches Cedric across the ring onto the top turnbuckle with a buckle bomb for a two count. Alexander gets thrown across the ring with a belly to belly. Cedric hits a jumping enziguiri and both men are down in the ring. Drew picks Cedric up and they trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Cedric counters a move and hits a big DDT into the mat for a 2 count.

McIntyre hits a side slam from the middle rope for a near fall. They take the fight outside and Alexander hits his finisher on the floor. McIntyre was a bit late to get up and the referee reaches 8 counts. Cedric jumps on him once more but McIntyre hits a belly to belly on the ramp and brings him back to the ring. Cedric gets a two count with an inside cradle. He meets Drew on the top rope and hits a Spanish Fly for another close two-count. Alexander counters the reverse Alabama Slam but Drew is able to drill him with a Claymore for the win. That was an outstanding match. The crowd really got into it.
