NXT Takeover Toronto II 2019 Main Show

The NXT Tag Team Championship match will start the Takeover. The Street Profits enter first and they get into crows for some time. Fish and O’ Reilly enter next to a subtle entrance.

The Street Profits(Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) defeated Undisputed Era(Kyle O’ Reilly and Bobby Fish) to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship

Dawkins and Reilly start the match and Dawkins uses his size advantage to corner Reilly. He gives O’Reilly a little pat on the head and Reilly slaps him in return. They restart and Dawkins hits a side suplex before Reilly countered another move for a single leg takedown. Fish tags in and Dawkins runs him over with a shoulder. Ford comes in and hits a dropkick. The champs maintain the upper hand with quick tags and double team moves. They clear the ring and were looking solid until Fish took control with a few kicks.

Ford fends off both opponents with some deep arm drags. Dawkins helps him with a few double team combos. Ford gets taken out at ringside while Dawkins chases O’Reilly. Fish gets the tag and takes Angelo down with a forearm. O’Reilly hits a series of knees to the body. Fish hits Dawkins with a Samoan drop. The Era keeps the things moving with tags in and keeps Dawkins in their corner. Montez finally gets the tag and comes in hot. He gets a close two count with a standing moonsault.

Ford was going to copy the Rock’s people elbow but Fish grabs his legs near the rope. As Reilly charges him, he sends him over with a back body drop. Reilly lands on top of both Fish and Dawkins at the ringside. Back in the ring, Fish takes control and Undisputed Era corners Ford. After keeping Ford down for a bit, they put him over the turnbuckle. Three of them fight for control at the top for a bit until Fish hits an avalanche belly to belly suplex from there.

Reilly comes in and locks him in a heel hook submission. Ford unlocks it once but Reilly locks him once more. Dawkins comes into the ring and as Fish tries to stop him, he drops Fish on top of O’Reilly. Dawkins gets the hot tag and hits both men with quick and powerful moves. Ford gets the bling tag as Dawkins into a knee to the face. Ford hits a blockbuster but could only get a near fall. All four men start trading punches in the middle of the ring before Fish and Ford do the same. Ford takes out Fish and O’Reilly with a huge dive over the top rope to the floor. Dawkins spears both men before Ford hits a frog splash for the pin and the win.

Io Shirai defeated Candice Le Rae

Io Shirai enters first and as Mrs. Gargano enters, she goes right after Shirai even before the bell could ring. The referee separates them and calls for the bell. Io gets out of the ring but Candice hits her with a dropkick under the ropes. However, as Candice comes out fo the ring, Shirai suplexes her onto the announce table and Candice barely beats the count-out.

Shirai is still in control though as she hits a flapjack and a dropkick for a two count. LeRae tries a flying head-scissor but Shirai lands on her feet and hits another dropkick. She locks Candice in a modified camel clutch and Candice briefly comes into the match as she overpowers and hits a hurricanrana. Shirai goes to the top turnbuckle and misses a dropkick as LeRae moves away. LeRae hits a brainbuster and gets a two-count.

Candice locks in the octopus stretch Shirai avoids submitting by reaching the ropes. Candice blocks the 619 and hits a neck breaker. Shirai recovers and hits the 619 to the back of LeRae’s neck. After a brief battle at the apron, Shirai is left outside. Candice hits a huge suicide dive and turns it into a tornado DDT. She follows up with a double stomp to the back of Shirai’s neck for a near fall.

Io Shirai locks Candice in a crossface. LeRae counters for a two count. Shirai drills her with a knee strike and a German suplex. Candice repays her with her own German suplex. Io hits another German suplex into a bridge for two. Io counters a German suplex with a backflip. Candice hits a reverse hurricanrana out of nowhere for a near fall.

An avalanche swinging neck breaker gets a near fall for Candice before Shirai returns the favor with a Spanish fly from the top. Shirai hits a backbreaker and a moonsault off the top but once again could only get a near fall. The crowd is ecstatic and Shirai is getting frustrated. Shirai locks Candice in a Koji clutch and chokes her out for the win.
