The Street Profits won the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT Takeover: XXV back in June. They defeated Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch, Forgotten Sons(Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake) and the Undisputed Era(Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) in a ladder match to win the titles.

Since then, the Street Profits have successfully defended the titles against Forgotten Sons and then against Burch and Lorcan in separate matches at NXT weekly shows. After the match against Burch and Lorcan, Undisputed Era duo came out to challenge the champions. The match was made official a couple of weeks ago. Next week, the teams will meet in the ring for an official contract signing.

The Street Profits have also been getting the exposure in the main roster as they have become a regular feature at RAW in backstage segments. The Undisputed Era, on the other hand, are looking to win all the titles at NXT. With Adam Cole already being the NXT champ, and Rodrick Strong being a part of North American Championship match, it looks a real possibility.
