We get the highlights from the Extreme Rules match between the Undertaker-Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre-Shane McMahon. Drew barges into the locker room where he finds Cedric Alexander and intimates him for being a disguise at last week’s main event. He challenges Cedric for a match later tonight.
Cedric Alexander defeated Drew McIntyre
McIntyre throws Cedric in the corner and chops him a couple of times. Alexander uses his high flying action and speed to send McIntyre out of the ring and hits him with the tope suicida. As they come back to the ring, McIntyre dodges a springboard move and hits a belly to belly suplex, sending Alexander into the bottom turnbuckle.
McIntyre throws him across the ring again before tossing him with a vertical suplex. Cedric counters another suplex and hits a back elbow. He nails Drew with a dropkick to the face. McIntyre hits the Glasgow kiss as Cedric tried to springboard on him. McIntyre goes for an inverted Alabama slam but Alexander turns it into a victory roll for the surprise win.
Finn Balor and Samoa Joe get some short promos and they will face-off next. Samoa Joe enters the arena as we go to the break. Roman Reigns is being interviewed after the break and tells us that he wants to carry on with the momentum of ESPYS and Extreme Rules by winning the battle royal tonight. Finn Balor enters the arena for his match against Samoa Joe next.
Samoa Joe defeated Finn Balor
Joe forces Balor to the ropes to start the match and gives him a shove. Balor tries and fails to counter a wristlock before he turns it into a headlock. Balor starts getting some moves like swing blade and other. But Joe ends up getting a quick win with a crucifix pin.
Joe doesn’t stop attacking Balor and applies the Coquina Clutch. Balor is able to counter out of it, hits some dropkicks and hits the Coup de Grace. As he was soaking in the crowd reaction, the lights start going off and it gets completely dark. As the lights come back, Bray Wyatt is holding Balor, ready to hit the sister Abigail. He executes the move as the crowd goes nuts. Holy Shit! chants are going on as the lights go off once more and we could only hear Wyatt’s vicious laugh.
WWE 24/7 Champion Drake Maverick is checking into a hotel with wife Renee Michelle, registered under Mr. and Mrs. WWE 24/7 Champion. Drake is ready to finally consummate his marriage. Renee wants the most romantic room and most expensive champagne they have. They walk off and R-Truth comes out of a back office with a referee. He asks if Hornswoggle is registered at the hotel and bribes the hotel receptionist to find in which room Maverick is. He also has a referee in tow.
NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits are backstage watching the Drake segment. They talk about tonight’s Women’s Fatal 4 Way and Angelo Dawkins still has a crush on Nikki Cross. He picks Alexa Bliss to win the match. They also talk about tonight’s Battle Royal and pick Big E and Seth Rollins to win.
