  • A recap of Drew Gulak’s Cruiserweight title win at Stomping Grounds takes us into a promo. Gulak says that he’s given up on building a better 205 Live, and is now focused on building a better Drew Gulak. He also reveals Akira Tozawa and Tony Nese go one on one tonight for the right to get put down by his wrath at Extreme Rules.
  • Jack Gallagher defeated Mike Kanellis via pinfall after a headbutt. Mike was arguing with the referee when he stopped counting his pin attempt on Gallagher after seeing that Mike is grabbing the tights. Mike tells his wife Maria he is done and leaves through the crowd, leaving Maria confused.
  • Tony Nese yells at himself in the locker room but says he will not give excuses. He has a one-on-one match against a man he respects(Tozawa) and he will get his title back at Extreme Rules.
  • Akira Tozawa is warming up and says he had victory in his grasp Sunday. After he beats Nese, he won’t let Gulak get away again and he’ll become a two-time Cruiserweight champ.
  • General Manager Drake Maverick is shown backstage. He leaves a voicemail for Mike Kanellis calling him unprofessional and that he can’t blame him for his failures.
  • Humberto Carrillo defeated Rob Rollenbeck via pinfall after a twisting top rope splash.
  • Sarah Scheiber interviews Ariya Daivari backstage, asking him about his beatdown of Oney Lorcan. He says Oney deserved it for putting six staples in his head and costing him a title shot. He gets destroyed with a steel chair by Lorcan and is dragged away.
  • Lucha House Party cuts a promo saying they took the Singh Brothers lightly last week. Kalisto wants revenge for what they did to Penelope, and Lince Dorado reveals he talked to Maverick and got a tornado tag match booked for next week.
  • Tony Nese defeated Akira Tozawa via pinfall after a belly-to-back piledriver to earn a title match against Cruiserweight champ Drew Gulak at Extreme Rules. Nese offers his hand afterward and Tozawa accepts to pull him into a hug.
