Roman Reigns assists R-Truth to regain 24/7 Championship
R-Truth lost and regained the 24/7 Championship from Elias at SmackDown episode last night after an assist from Roman Reigns.
Earlier in the night, Truth ran into the ring during the ‘Shane McMahon Appreciation Night’ while running from Drake Maverick. Truth pinned Maverick but Shane and team were pissed on him. Shane attacked him with Elias and Drew McIntyre. McIntyre laid him out with the Claymore Kick and Elias pinned Truth to become the 24/7 Champion.
Shane announced a tag team match between Drew McIntyre and Elias versus R-Truth and Shane McMahon while also canceling the 24/7 rules until after that match. Roman Reigns fended off the challenge with Shane trying to interfering and Truth surviving. McIntyre was taken care off at the ringside and Elias was hit by the spear and was pinned.
As Shane and McIntyre took a run, Roman assisted Truth with another spear on Elias and Truth covered him for the pin to regain the 24/7 championship. Elias became the fourth 24/7 Champion after the title was introduced last week. Titus O’ Niel and Robert Roode were the first two champion and Truth won the title from Robert Roode.
