AJ Styles became the no. 1 contender to face Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship two weeks ago. Ever since he has somewhat started to set up for his heel turn. He cut a cocky promo backstage in a backstage promo and then sent Rollins through the table with a phenomenal forearm last week.

This week at RAW, he confronted Vince McMahon for bringing in SmackDown stars to RAW and for the Wildcard rule. Seth Rollins also came out, still upset with Styles attack from the last week. They argued for a bit until Vince asked them if they want some action. When they answered in affirmative, Vince told them that they will have to tag together instead of one on one action.

Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin came out to face them. After wresting control back and forth, Rollins was about to finish Corbin with the curb stomper when Corbin avoided him. As AJ tried to hit him with the Phenomenal Forearm, Corbin ducked and Styles’ move hit Rollins instead. After that, Styles just abandoned Rollins and went backstage. Corbin hit the End of Days on Rollins to get the win.

Seth Rollins and AJ Styles will face off for the Universal Championship at Money in the Bank on 19 May at XL Center in Hartford, CT. You can check out our Money in the Bank center for the latest updates.
