The Miz vs Shane McMahon inside Steel Cage at MITB 2019
The Miz is set to face Shane McMahon in a steel cage match at Money in the Bank event.
Miz and Shane turned from tag team champions to arch nemesis as Shane attacked him at Fastlane. He also insulted Miz’s father while he continued to attack him. These two faced off in a Falls Counts Anywhere match at WrestleMania where Miz’s father again got involved. Shane got the accidental victory at the event after Miz hit the superplex from the 20-feet tall platform. But Shane landed on top of him to get the cover and the win.
This week at RAW, Miz hosted Bobby Lashley in his talk show segment Miz TV. Lashley also went on to insult Miz’s father when they were going back and forth at each other. This lead to an irate Miz attacking Lashley and setting up a match between them.
During the match, Shane entered as his music played. He continued to distract Miz which resulted in Lashley hitting a spear on Miz. After Lashley got the win, Shane himself went on to attack Miz. As Miz tried to fight back, Lashley again planted him back to the mat. Shane then went on to make Miz pass out with a triangle choke.
Later in a backstage interview, Miz went on to challenge Shane for the Steel Cage match at the Money in the Bank event. Shane accepted the challenge over Twitter to confirm the match. Money in the Bank will take place on 19 May 2019 at XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Check out our MITB Center for all the details regarding the event.
