Since WrestleMania, Sasha Banks has been in the news as first she was nowhere to be seen on RAW on Monday and later canceled her appearance on the Wendy Williams Show last minute on the pretext of a family emergency. Then, she posted over Instagram yesterday from her trip to the Dominican Republic with her partner Mikaze, Kalisto and his wife. Based on the posts, it looks like Sasha started traveling with her friends to the Dominican Republic on the same day she was scheduled for The Wendy Williams Show.

Now, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Sasha Banks tried to quit WWE after she came to know that she will be dropping the title to the IIconics at WrestleMania 35. Banks was convinced that the Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection would be having a lengthy title run to create the credibility for the titles. They also cut promos about defending their titles on every WWE brand including NXT. This led fans to believe that Sasha and Bayley were only just getting started on their title run.

Indeed the loss for Sasha and Bayley was the most shocking result at WrestleMania but if you go by Sasha’s own statement earlier, she said that she would have like for the IIconics to become the inaugural champions if she had not been able to pull through her injury in time for Elimination Chamber. And you got to admit that their annoying act has been reaching the peak levels since they have got the titles.

It is also reported that Sasha is given a few weeks time to consider her future by WWE officials and not to make what would have a rash decision. Sasha was not part of the WWE programming this week and it is still not clear if and when she will be returning.
