Paige bringing tag team after IIconics title defense
The IIconics have been at their irritating best since becoming the Women’s Tag Team Championship titles at WrestleMania. Last night at SmackDown, they had their first title defense against what they called the best tag team they could find in New York. The team was the Brooklyn Bellas(enhancement talent) who had a record of 45 wins and 0 losses until then, we were told. The IIconics, however, did not have any problem crushing them in under two minutes.
Backstage, former General Manager of SmackDown and WWE Superstar, Paige was watching the proceeding on the LED. Kayla Braxton approached her and asked what brought her to SmackDown. Paige mentioned that she came to have a look at the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions before the Superstar Shakeup next week. Paige then revealed that she will be bringing back a tag team to face The IIconics next Tuesday night.
Who could be that tag team? Our guess- Absolution is coming back with Paige being their manager.
