Rumor: Undertaker to appear at WWE Saudi Event

Undertaker

The Undertaker is increasingly looking set to miss the WrestleMania this year but Saudi money seems to be working quite well in WWE as he is reportedly be making an appearance at WWE’s Saudi Arabia’s event this year on 3 May.

Last month, the Undertaker started taking bookings for non-WWE appearances and announced a UK tour in late April along with appearing at Starrcast event in Las Vegas from 23 May to 26 May. Although this does not mean that Taker will not appear for WWE at all this year. As per Wrestling Observer Radio, he is a special demand for the Saudi Event and WWE will meet all the ends to bring him to Saudi this May due to the money involved, even if that means Taker not appearing at Mania.

WWE is already about to break the all time WrestleMania matches record with 17 matches expected to be scheduled for this year’s grand show. Undertaker is being speculated to face Finn Balor in his demon gimmick but those reports remain more hope than reality. Even without Taker, the card looks staked as on top of all the matches, skits from WrestleMania host Alexa Bliss, special correspondents Michael Che and Colin Jost, a musical performance from Elias and R Truth are also expected.

Undertaker in an interview last month, mentioned the continuous travels being problematic for him last year when he worked at WWE’s Australia and Saudi Event along with some weekly shows and how he would want to be smarter with his plans for this year. This might also be the reason for Taker missing WrestleMania and come to an event which is increasingly becoming more important for WWE.
