NXT TV Tapings Spoilers – 20 March-10 April 2019
NXT TV tapings for the episodes until the Takeover/WrestleMania were done at NXT’s base in Full Sail University last night. Below are the results and updates from the tapings. Spoilers Alert
20 March 2019 Episode
- Triple H opened the show with an announcement. He was supposed to announce Tommaso Ciampa vs Johnny Gargano for NXT Takeover: New York. But Ciampa’s neck injury has changed plans. Triple H then announced that Johnny Gargano will compete for the NXT Title at Takeover. He will face the winner of a Fatal 5 Way between Ricochet, Aleister Black, Adam Cole, Matt Riddle
and NXT North American Champion the Velveteen Dream. The Title match at Takeover will be a 2 of 3 Falls match to ensure that whoever wins the title really deserves it. - Punishment Martinez defeated Riddick Moss (omitted from episode)
- Humberto Carrillo defeated Albert Hardie, Jr. (ACH)
- Adam Cole pinned Ricochet to win the Fatal 5 Way over Ricochet, Aleister Black, Matt Riddle and NXT North American Champion The Velveteen Dream.
- The Forgotten Sons came out and attacked Aleister Black and Ricochet after the match(omitted from the episode).
