Roman Reigns Joins ‘The Rock’ in ‘Fast and Furious’ Spinoff

Roman Reigns will be making his Hollywood Debut as part of the movie ‘Hobbs and Shaw’, the Rock has announced on his Instagram post.

The movie is a spinoff from the Fast and Furious series where Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Jason Statham will reprise their roles of Agent Luke Hobbs and Magdalene Shaw respectively. The movie went into production in September 2018.

Reigns have been out of action since October 2018 after he announced that he is suffering from leukemia. He had to relinquish the Universal title that he had won by defeating Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam as well. For now, neither WWE nor Reigns has confirmed when the superstar will make his comeback to the company

But, it is sure that he will not be competing at Wrestlemania 35 that takes place in April. Although, the rumors are ripe that he might appear at Royal Rumble that is also expected to be just a one-off appearance if he returns.

Reigns will portray the role of The Rock’s Brother in the movie. Johnson posted on Instagram and said he is excited over his cousin being able to make his movie debut alongside him while cherishing the time spent with Reigns as he recovers from his latest battle with leukemia.

Reigns also posted on Instagram and thanked his new film family. He also mentioned that the whole filming process has helped him as he heals from Leukemia.
